Because it’s going to help you be less stressed.

This is important because the more stressed you are, the more likely you are to get sick, make poor decisions, and even gain weight.

How does stress make you gain weight?

Well, nearly 40% of Americans overeat or eat unhealthy foods as a result of stress according to the American Psychological Association.

To make matters worse, studies from UC San Francisco, show that eating junk food while stressed causes fat cells to expand at a faster rate compared to those who eat junk food while not stressed.

One of the worst foods you can eat while stressed is Gluten.

Because gluten has been shown to inhibit the production of the neurotransmitters like serotonin which can affect your mood, cause depression, and even contribute to schizophrenia.

So what is a good food to eat while you’re stressed?

Organic pumpkin seeds.

Because pumpkin seeds contain magnesium which act as a precursor for neurotransmitters like serotonin. Magnesium deficiency has been linked to anxiety, panic attacks and depression.

I hope this tip makes your life a little less stressful.

Have a great day!
