Last Thursday night on August 4th was one of the most magical nights of the year...
A large group of 150 consisting of patients and their families and friends gathered together in the South End Tennis Club banquet room for a night of sweet company, great food, many hugs, awesome raffles and a beautiful and unforgettable hula dance performed by Dr. Derek Taylor's mom (my grandma) Winona Lane!
You can watch the video of the event HERE.
The team did a BEAUTIFUL job of creating a warm, colorful and vibrant tropical atmosphere that really set the mood as we all fellowshipped throughout the room, enjoying the excellent food from Back Home in Lahaina (an authentic Hawaiian restaurant) and sharing our stories with one another!
I want to give a major THANK YOU to Danni, Heather, and my mother Ali Taylor for organizing the MANY details of the event and creating something UNFORGETTABLE!
Everyone in the room that night has a great story of enduring and OVERCOMING tremendous health challenges...
Everyone in the room that night also had a TREMENDOUS SMILE on their face as they ENJOYED the night! It reminded me...
You are not alone!
You are not alone if you are going through a tough challenge...
Reach out, ask for help, surround yourself with people who will encourage you and support you to victory!
As you watch this video and see the bright colors and the smiling faces... Stay tuned until the end when you can watch the final moments of Winona's dance...
What a beautiful and unforgettable night!
We are so very thankful and appreciative of you!
Have a GREAT week!
Dr. Hudson Taylor
